《會展英語》由會議英語和展會英語兩大部分組成。各有7個單元。內(nèi)容涉及會展商務(wù)背景、會展交際會話、會展短文閱讀、會展應(yīng)用文寫作以及綜合練習(xí)。《會展英語》的特點:專業(yè)性和實用性強。填補目前市場沒有此類書的空白。

經(jīng)濟全球化是當(dāng)代世界經(jīng)濟發(fā)展的重要趨勢。隨著經(jīng)濟全球化進程的不斷加快,會展業(yè)已發(fā)展成為新興的現(xiàn)代服務(wù)貿(mào)易型產(chǎn)業(yè)。會展經(jīng)濟逐步成為城市發(fā)展新的增長點,同時也成為衡量一個城市國際化程度和經(jīng)濟發(fā)展水平的重要標(biāo)準(zhǔn)之一。當(dāng)前我國會展業(yè)的國際化程度不斷提高,會議和展覽活動都面臨著與國際接軌的嚴(yán)峻挑戰(zhàn),客觀上要求會展從業(yè)人員具備較強的英語溝通能力,能為各種大型國際會議和展覽活動提供符合國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的專業(yè)化服務(wù)。

本教材根據(jù)會展行業(yè)特點以及工作要點,將內(nèi)容分為兩大部分:會議英語和展會英語。每一部分包括七個單元,每個單元均有五大模塊:
模塊一:會展商務(wù)背景。介紹會議和展覽活動的相關(guān)背景和工作指南。
