由胡友珍、何小平和王志芳編著的《英語學術論文寫作教程》以教育部頒布的《非英語專業(yè)研究生英語教學大綱》為依據(jù)，根據(jù)我國和我校博士研究生教學的實際情況和國家對21世紀高級技術和管理人才的要求進行編寫。
考慮到目前我國研究生層次多、專業(yè)雜，其入學英語水平參差不齊，教材要求以不同水平為起點，因此，本書編寫力求滿足新世紀對高級人才的期望，培養(yǎng)研究生扎實的語言技能，更注重其全面的應用能力，力求將語言教育和素質教育融為一體。
