2021考研英語(yǔ)閱讀同源外刊時(shí)文精析
本書選材上包括文化、經(jīng)濟(jì)、商業(yè)、歷史、教育、科技、人物等主題,并根據(jù)考研的要求將文章編寫到了400到500字。每篇文章后面均配有單詞注釋。
前 言
英文中有一句諺語(yǔ):The greatest homage we can pay to truth is to use it. (加以使用就是對(duì)事實(shí)最大的尊重),試著同義替換這句話:The greatest homage we can pay to our knowledge is to use it. (運(yùn)用所學(xué)的知識(shí)是對(duì)知識(shí)最大的尊重)。作為一名考研老師,我所接觸到的中國(guó)考研群體可以說(shuō)是成年人中最努力的人群了,考研的復(fù)習(xí)時(shí)間甚至可能延長(zhǎng)到了一年半。很多同學(xué)從大三上學(xué)期甚至是大二下學(xué)期就開始背考研詞匯,練習(xí)分析考研的句子,但是效果卻并不是很理想。其中很大一部分原因就是沒(méi)去使用自己所學(xué)的詞匯和句子。詞匯和句子一定要放到文章中才能有更強(qiáng)的生命力,考生也才能對(duì)詞匯和句子有更深刻的理解,甚至相同的單詞、句子放到不同的文章中都會(huì)產(chǎn)生不同的效果和不同的含義。作為考研學(xué)子,我們必須了解考研英語(yǔ)文章所考查的文章類型,如果能在復(fù)習(xí)考研英語(yǔ)的開始階段就以這些文章為導(dǎo)向,那么最后的考試結(jié)果一定會(huì)更好。 但是多年以來(lái)考生們除了從真題上接觸為數(shù)不多的文章之外,很少接觸這些外刊的文章。以往我們通常鼓勵(lì)同學(xué)們到網(wǎng)上下載文章來(lái)閱讀。但是,網(wǎng)上文章眾多,且不是每篇都適合閱讀,同學(xué)們遇到問(wèn)題時(shí)也無(wú)法自己解決,所以為同學(xué)們編寫一本時(shí)文的書籍就顯得非常有必要了。 NO.1 Facebook expects FTC fine of up to $5bn in privacy investigation 臉書違反隱私協(xié)議,或受罰50億美元
