A Short History of American Literature and Selected Readings 每部分下面又按不同 歷史時(shí)期的代表作家進(jìn)行編排,具體到每一章,都包含作家生平及作品介紹(Life story and works)、作家評(píng)論(Comments)、選文(Selected poems/novels/essays)、 注釋?zhuān)∟otes)、選文賞析(Appreciation)和思考題(For study and discussion)等 板塊,詩(shī)歌部分的選文均提供中譯版本供參考。
