本書講述: 《焚書》共6卷, 是哲學(xué)與文學(xué)著作。書中收錄了明朝著名思想家、文學(xué)家李贄生前所寫的書信、雜著、史評、詩文、讀史短文等, 這些作品較為全面地闡釋了李贄的政治思想和哲學(xué)思想, 因此《焚書》也是研究李贄生平和思想的重要著作。目前《焚書》在國內(nèi)尚未有英譯本, 在國外也暫無全譯本。本書譯著者系統(tǒng)整理了《焚書》的內(nèi)容, 對選編作品進(jìn)行了注解, 并把作品翻譯成英文。這本英漢對照讀本的出版不僅對中國哲學(xué)思想史研究有著重大貢獻(xiàn), 也有助于在海外推廣與傳播優(yōu)秀中華傳統(tǒng)文化。
