“美國亞裔文學(xué)研究叢書”是國內(nèi)第一套最為完整的“美國亞裔文學(xué)”方面的系列叢書，由文學(xué)史、文學(xué)作品選、文學(xué)評論集、學(xué)術(shù)論著等組成。
《美國西亞裔文學(xué)作品選》精選了35位美國西亞裔作家的作品，主要收錄了黎巴嫩裔、敘利亞裔、伊朗裔、巴勒斯坦裔、阿富汗裔、伊拉克裔、土耳其裔等代表作家的經(jīng)典作品和新興作家的代表作品。作品選分為作者簡介和作品選讀兩部分，選讀部分一般選取的是每位作家的一至三部代表作品的節(jié)選，包括了多種體裁，如自傳、小說、詩歌和散文等；作者簡介提供作家的個人基本信息、創(chuàng)作經(jīng)歷、代表作和作品簡要點評。我們希望幫助讀者盡快了解作家及所選作品的中心思想與主要內(nèi)容。
郭英劍，中國人民大學(xué)“杰出學(xué)者”特聘教授，外國語學(xué)院教授（二級）、博士生導(dǎo)師。現(xiàn)任中國人民大學(xué)首都發(fā)展與戰(zhàn)略研究院副院長。從2001到2020年，歷任鄭州大學(xué)外語學(xué)院副院長、常務(wù)副院長、中央民族大學(xué)外國語學(xué)院院長、中國人民大學(xué)外國語學(xué)院院長。主要從事英美文學(xué)、文學(xué)翻譯、英語教育與高等教育研究。
國務(wù)院第八屆外語學(xué)科評議組成員、教育部高校英語專業(yè)教學(xué)指導(dǎo)分委員會委員、享受國務(wù)院政府特殊津貼專家、國家首批“新世紀(jì)百千萬人才工程”國家級人選、全國模范教師。國家社科重大規(guī)劃項目首席專家。
