《京劇——竇娥冤》:本書是“中國戲曲海外傳播工程叢書”中的一本,該系列以英文圖書的形式向海外讀者介紹中國戲曲文化,由多部經(jīng)典劇目構(gòu)成。該劇展示了當(dāng)時的下層人民任人宰割、有苦無處訴的悲慘處境,控訴了貪官草菅人命的黑暗現(xiàn)實,生動刻畫出竇娥這個女性形象。本書第一部分介紹劇本的內(nèi)容概要、來龍去脈以及主創(chuàng)人員,第二部分是腳本,第三部分是附錄,主要是對京劇劇種的簡要介紹。

韓愛果,美國賓西法尼亞州立印第安那大學(xué)語言與思辨學(xué)博士。任教于新澤西州羅文大學(xué)寫作藝術(shù)系,主講英語寫作藝術(shù)和中國語言文化,開辦科學(xué)認(rèn)知和創(chuàng)新思維的系列講座。研究領(lǐng)域為寫作藝術(shù)教學(xué)、認(rèn)知思辨與道家哲學(xué)。專著論文主要涵蓋認(rèn)知思辨、社會價值體系、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)藝術(shù)和東西方思想文化交流。多次應(yīng)邀在中國和美國大學(xué)舉辦中國傳統(tǒng)哲學(xué)思想的專題講座。
