黃土地貌繼承性研究是揭示黃土地貌二百余萬年來發(fā)育、演化機理的關鍵環(huán)節(jié),也是黃土地貌研究的重要關注點。前人對黃土地貌繼承性及相關問題進行了較多的研究,初步探討了第三紀古地形對當今黃土地貌形成的控制作用。但是,目前對黃土地貌繼承性的成因機理、影響程度及區(qū)域差異性等問題尚未形成共識。數字高程模擬(DEM)及基于DEM的數字地形分析,為在GIS平臺下實現地表形態(tài)的定量描述與分析提供了新的思想和方法。如果能夠建立第三紀黃土下伏古地形的數字高程模型,從而構建地表-地下一體化的雙層的數字高程模擬,就可望通過運用GIS復合分析等多種空間分析方法,有效揭示黃土地貌繼承性研究中的科學問題,實現黃土地貌研究的理論突破與方法創(chuàng)新。研究首先分析了黃土地貌繼承性的概念模型。其地形面的DEM、地質圖以及鉆孔物探資料為依據,重建了三種空間尺度的黃土堆積前原始地形面的DEM,進而構建了地表-地下一體化的“雙層地形模型”。并據此模型,通過面積高程積分、坡向變異特征、地形剖面比降及地形剖面凸凹度等方法與指標,分析現今地形與古地形的空間關系,獲得在下伏古地形控制作用下,黃土堆積對地表起伏變化、地貌發(fā)育變化及黃土地貌空間分異格局的新認識。
