I. Writing Requirements
通知/啟示(Notices)是指某單位或某個人向公眾或某一特定群體說明、傳達(dá)某種信息時采用的一種寫作形式,這種文體具有簡潔、直接的特點(diǎn),一般出現(xiàn)在宣傳欄等公共場所。重要事宜還會在報刊、廣播、電視、網(wǎng)絡(luò)等媒體上做更大范圍、更有影響力的宣傳。通知/啟示按照發(fā)布形式分為布告式和書信式兩種形式。布告式通知通常一段話包括了時間、地點(diǎn)、人員、事項、要求等內(nèi)容。書信式通知是以信函的形式書寫,包括稱呼、正文、落款等要素。
公告(Announcements)是一種日常生活和工作中常見的應(yīng)用文,是上級對下級、單位、組織或團(tuán)體對所屬成員安排工作、傳達(dá)信息、召開會議時所采用的一種書面文字形式。
通知與公告一般包括以下幾方面的內(nèi)容:
1.標(biāo)題:通知與公告用Notice/ Announcements作標(biāo)題,為了醒目,標(biāo)題有時常常大寫,如NOTICE或ANNOUNCEMENTS。
2.正文:正文中應(yīng)包括通知與公告提及的活動時間、地點(diǎn)、內(nèi)容和參加活動的人員及相關(guān)要求。一般采用第三人稱,多用被動語句。書信式通知正文前面有稱呼語,則使用第二人稱稱呼通知對象。
3.落款:正文之后的落款包括發(fā)出通知的日期和單位名稱。日期也可以位于正文的右上方,單位名稱寫在正文的右下角。

要求所有員工出席會議。
7. If you are unable to attend, please call 5623489.

8. It is expected that all the department managers are attending the meeting on time.
希望所有部門經(jīng)理準(zhǔn)時參加會議。
9. New employees are welcomed to the party to be held in the auditorium at 7 p.m. on December 31st.
