本書分為電氣工程基礎(chǔ)、控制理論與技術(shù)、電機(jī)與電器設(shè)備、電力系統(tǒng)4大部分,共20章。為便于學(xué)生對(duì)文章的正確理解,每章后均補(bǔ)充了必要的專業(yè)英語詞匯、短語及句子注釋。本書涵蓋了電氣工程與自動(dòng)化專業(yè)的主要專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)理論內(nèi)容,注重從實(shí)際應(yīng)用出發(fā)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的專業(yè)英語閱讀和寫作能力。
本書第1版自2010年8月出版以來,被多所高校的電氣工程及其自動(dòng)化專業(yè)及其他電氣類專業(yè)作為教材用于專業(yè)英語的教學(xué)中。編者在教學(xué)過程中也收到了使用本書的教師們的反饋信息,他們?cè)趯?duì)本書給予充分肯定的同時(shí),也提出了寶貴的建議和修改意見,在此表示由衷的感謝。
本書第2版在保持本書專業(yè)知識(shí)點(diǎn)突出、實(shí)用性強(qiáng)的基礎(chǔ)上,主要做了以下三方面的修訂和補(bǔ)充:1)補(bǔ)充了與電氣工程及其自動(dòng)化專業(yè)發(fā)展相關(guān)的內(nèi)容,如特種電機(jī)、微電網(wǎng)技術(shù)等方面的內(nèi)容。
2)對(duì)部分章節(jié)的內(nèi)容安排進(jìn)行了調(diào)整,使整本書各知識(shí)點(diǎn)內(nèi)容在突出專業(yè)特點(diǎn)和重點(diǎn)的同時(shí),內(nèi)容銜接更緊密。
3)為了便于相關(guān)專業(yè)和不同年級(jí)讀者的使用,本書每章后增加了對(duì)重點(diǎn)或難點(diǎn)句子的中文注釋,可幫助讀者理解和學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)知識(shí)點(diǎn)內(nèi)容。
本書第2版由北京石油化工學(xué)院、沈陽工業(yè)大學(xué)、太原理工大學(xué)、中原工學(xué)院幾所高校多年從事專業(yè)英語教學(xué)工作的老師聯(lián)合修訂。第2版共包括電氣工程基礎(chǔ)(第1~5章)、控制理論與技術(shù)(第6~10章)、電機(jī)與電器(第11~15章)及電力系統(tǒng)(第16~20章)4個(gè)部分,整體結(jié)構(gòu)與本書第1版保持一致。參與本書修訂工作的有王偉、韓肖清、張殿海、馬景蘭和裴素萍5位老師。全書由王偉和馬景蘭老師統(tǒng)稿。張艷麗老師由于工作原因未參加本版的修訂工作,相關(guān)內(nèi)容由沈陽工業(yè)大學(xué)張殿海老師負(fù)責(zé)修訂,在此也對(duì)張艷麗老師在本書第1版中所做的工作表示感謝。此外,北京石油化工學(xué)院的李偉、太原理工大學(xué)的王鵬敏和河南省建筑科學(xué)研究院的劉禹等也對(duì)本書的修訂做了許多工作,在此一并表示感謝。
