本輯刊發(fā)考古發(fā)掘與調(diào)查簡(jiǎn)報(bào)4篇，公布了青海玉樹(shù)、重慶忠縣、四川成都和安岳等地的考古新資料；收錄論文11篇，分別對(duì)寶墩文化起源、四川涼山地區(qū)史前文化、青海大通常寧遺址齊家文化制陶工藝、西南地區(qū)三叉格銅劍的年代與源流等問(wèn)題進(jìn)行探討。同時(shí)刊發(fā)紀(jì)念論文1篇，深切緬懷為西南民族考古研究作出杰出貢獻(xiàn)的已故著名考古學(xué)家汪寧生先生。
